DJ CENTER: The Romanian-Born, New York-bred, tastemaker's set
is synomonous with the finest of selections whether he is doing Music
Supervision for Gucci, recording radio sessions for Giant Step, or
keeping NYC parties on their feet until the wee hours. Always aiming
to break new music and celebrate forgotten gems, Center’s sound has
maintained his signature styling of soulful, feel-good music for audiences
worldwide. The year 2010 marks DJ Center’s debut as producer with the LP, "Everything in Time". The tunes are from the soul and have been cooked slowly to perfection, as Center’s debut release is three years in the making. The album is reflective of his experience as a New Yorker with an affinity for the internationally diverse roster of artists who collaborated on the release. Album includes: Oddisee, Renee Neufville(Zhane), MiddleChild & others. With a remix by Waajeed of Platinum Pied Pipers. |

GARTH TRINIDAD: Beloved LA based DJ and radio personality Garth Trinidad states he's fighting the war against musical mediocrity and cultural ignorance. Any fans who listen to his critically acclaimed, nightly music mix on top ranking NPR affiliate KCRW 89.9fm & kcrw.com, or attend his carefully curated events can attest to his claim. Garth works relentlessly to expose the new and progressive while paying homage to the classic by weaving together intergalactic tapestries of sound, artfully exploring a multitude of genres, roots, and movements worldwide. He seeks purity in music; sexy, raw, rhythmic, and dynamic--from jazz, indie rock, afro-beat, and samba, to hip hop, afro-punk, house, techno, etc. Through his work
in radio, event production, music supervision, and as a voting member
of The Recording Academy, he's broken artists like Gnarls Barkley and
MIA, exposed music of independent bands on HBO's Emmy winning series,
Entourage, and is partially responsible for The Grammy Awards "Best
Urban Alternative Performance" category.
